About Us

Fairfield Auctions Limited are one of Europe's leading industrial auctioneers. Based in the North of England, we are a member of the John Livingston and Sons Limited Group Of Companies first established in the town of Middlesbrough in 1853. The Group has given an unbroken service to industry for almost 150 years. As the world economy has changed, so have our clients, once predominantly from the UK and its Commonwealth, they now encompass the whole world.

Fairfield offers a range of auction, appraisal and valuation services including complete site management, machinery removals and relocations, and if required, the disposal of buildings and property, all in addition of course to our main business, the sale by auction or private treaty of industrial assets. Our client list is long and varied, and in the recent past we have carried out auctions and complete closures for, among others;

Our online auction website, Lotsurf.com, is simple and easy to use, and we are pleased to be able to connect vendors and purchasers throughout the world.
